Change Your Name - Corporate Organisation

Changing your name is a legal process that must be approached with care and due diligence. Whether your name has changed due to marriage, personal preference, or corporate restructuring, it is essential to update your records to maintain access to your shares and dividends with Africa Prudential Plc (AP Plc).

Corporate entities that have undergone internal changes, such as rebranding or mergers, must also update their shareholding records to reflect their new corporate identity.

Steps:

  1. Upload the Following Documents:
    • Introduction Letter on company letterhead.
    • Copy of Valid ID (national ID, driver’s license, international passport, etc.).
    • CSCS Statement
    • Signature Mandate
    • Board Resolution authorizing the name change.
    • Certificate of Incorporation reflecting the name change.

Additional Information

  • Processing Fees: The name change process is free of charge. However, if there is a change or irregularity in your signature, a processing fee of ₦500 must be paid for the verification of the Banker’s Confirmation.
